Allu Arjun Biography and Filmography
Allu Arjun is the nephew of famous Telugu actor Chiranjeevi who is fondly called Megastar. He is the grandson of famous Telugu comedian Allu Ramalingaiah. His cousin Ram Charan Teja is an upcoming and young Tollywood actor. Arjun has 2 siblings – an elder brother Allu Venkatesh and a younger brother Allu Sirish. He lives with his family in Hyderabad. Just like his uncle, Arjun is an enthusiastic dancer. Allu Arjun movies list consists of 21 films including 2 experimental movies. Allu Arjun’s debut film as an actor in Telugu is Daddy, which is produced by his father Allu Aravind. His first leading role was in Gangotri, which is directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, introducing Aditi Agarwal. His second film in Telugu, Arya, which is claimed to be his major hit released in 2004. His 3rd film Bunny was released in 2005 and 4th film Happy was released in 2006. These films didn’t break Arya’s record, however, managed to make healthy profit in the Indian movie scene in the US.

Parugu, Allu Arjun’s 6th movie was released on May 1, 2008. The movie was directed by successful director Bhaskar and produced by top producer Dil Raju. Prakash Raj played a key role in the movie and Sheela played the female lead. The movie brought popularity for Arjun. People liked him for his unique acting and dancing skills. Parugu successfully went on to run 100 days.

Arjun also earned popularity in Kerala. All his films except Gangotri were dubbed in Malayalam. Parugu was renamed to Krishna and Desamuduru was renamed to Here when dubbed. This helped him gain popularity in Kerala. After making a guest appearance in his uncle’s movie, he appeared in Sukumar’s triangular love story Arya 2 (2009) which is the sequel of his film Arya (2004) alongside Navdeep and Kajal Aggarwal. After tasting the immense success with Arya 2, Arjun starred in 2 experimental films in the following year.
In early 2010 he starred in creative director Gunashekhar’s Varudu, which went onto the biggest disaster in his career. In late 2010, he appeared in Krish’s multi-starrer movie Vedam alongside Deeksha Seth, Anushka Shetty and Manchu Manoj. Allu Arjun showed maturity in his acting through this film. The movie stood one of the best Telugu films of 2010 and helped Arjun win his 2nd Filmfare Award for The Best Telugu Actor.
Later, he appeared in Badrinath, Trivikram Srinivas’s Julai and romantic love story ‘Iddarammayilatho’. In 2014, he appeared in Yevadu alongside Ram Charan Teja. Allu Arjun new movie “Rudramadevi” was also released on October 9 and having a wonderful talk all over his fans. Arjun married Sneha Reddy on March 6, 2011. Many industrialists, film stars and politicians attended Allu Arjun wedding images are available on internet. Sneha reddy, Allu Arjun wife is the daughter of Chandrashekhar Reddy, who is the chairman of SCIENT college. The couple are blessed with a baby boy, Allu Ayaan, on April 4, 2014. The rumors of divorcing Sneha went quashed by Allu Arjun in a press meet.
