Dev Anand Biography: Originally called as Dharam Dev Pishorimal Anand, born on 26th September 1923 but his golden journey of life was ended on 3rd December 2011. This Indian Film actor, director, producer, writer are well known for his outstanding work in Hindi cinema. He was co-founded Navketan Films in 1949 with the collaboration of his elder brother named as Chetan Anand. Dev Sahab is regarded as one of the most influencial actors throughout Hindi cinema. In the late 40s he had excellent chemistry with singer actress Suraiya and both of them appeared in 7 films, all the movies were successful on the box office. In 50s, he received first big break by the Ashok Kumar and got a chance to work in Bombay Talkies production movie Ziddi which made him as a star. He was associated with Kishore Kumar for next four decades and this association became the strong bond of friendship. In 1949, Dev launched his own company named as Navketan Films and produced 35 best Dev Anand movies under his banner. This evergreen star Dev Anand Saheb gone in peace at the age of 88, his last release film was Charge Sheet.
