Stevie Wonder Biography: Stevland Hardaway Morris was born on May 13, 1950 at Saginaw, Michigan. He is recognized by his stage name i.e. Stevie Wonder. He is a popular American singer, songwriter as well as a multi instrumentalist. At an early age he began to play piano, bass, harmonica and drums. He was also active in his church choir during his childhood. Stevie Wonder at the age of eleven signed with Motown Tamla label and till today he continues to perform for Motown. Wonder’s best known singles are Sir Duke, Superstition, I Just Called to Say I Love You etc. In the series of his hits includes Talking Book, Songs in the Key of Life and Innervisions albums. He won twenty two Grammy Awards. He has recorded more than thirty U.S. top ten hits. It is noted that he is one who is most awarded male solo artist. Stevie Wonder also takes active participation in the political causes. In 2009, Wonder was known as a United Nations Messenger of Peace.
