Rapper, singer, songwriter and model Cher Lloyd is a star in the United Kingdom thanks to string of extraordinary performances on British version of The X Factor, a well received Cher Lloyd album, and a No.1 debut single that peak #4 on the UK musical chart. With her debut US single, Want U Back, which was released in May, it is easy to understand why. Cher Lloyd grew up in Malvern, Worcestershire with her parents Diane and Darren and her 3 younger siblings Rosie, Josh and Sophie. Her family is from Romany origin. She spent of her childhood in travelling. She was bullied and teased by her schoolmates for her origins, and was called ‘gypo’ and ‘pikey’ at school. Cher enrolled in Dyson Perrins High School. There she studied performing arts. Later she joined the Stagecoach, a theatre arts school.

Cher previously gave auditions for The X Factor before singing ballads and performances at holiday camps. She auditioned by Soulja Boy singing Turn My Swag On. She confirmed on her Twitter page that Sorry I’m Late, Cher Lloyd latest album, would be released on May 27, 2014. The album’s second hit single, Sirens, was released on 17 March, 2014. Two weeks later, Dirty Love, the album’s debut promotional single, premiered. The 2nd promotional single of the Cher Lloyd new album is Human, and premiered on 11 April. The album featured 11 songs.
